Getting to the next Chaos-event using the DB event ticket

To promote environmentally conscious travel, Deutsche Bahn is offering the Veranstaltungsticket. This special ticket can be booked for all chaos-adjacent events and is offered until the June, 30th 2025. Starting July, 1st 2025 the offer will be replaced with the event discount (Veranstaltungsrabatt).

1^st class: 95,00 € (incl. seat reservation)
2^nd class: 59,00 €
VAT Flex (flexible ticket for all trains)

1^st class: 119,00 € (incl. seat reservation)
2^nd class: 82,00 €

Since the 01.01.2019, the event ticket (Veranstaltungsticket) is an official offer of the Deutsche Bahn, which has also been codified in their terms of carriage. As such the prerequisites for using such a ticket are also checked.

Please make sure to carry a participant ID, booking confirmation, proof of eligibility, invitation, entrance ticket or similar document with you, which you can show the railway employees during ticket verification. The document should show without any doubt, that you're on your way to a CCC or chaos-related event.

If you cannot produce such a proof, you will be considered riding without a valid ticket and the same measures are taken as for fare dodging.

Veranstaltungstickets may be booked at any time, but the selected travel dates may at most extend up to two days before and at most up to two days after the event respectively. The dates printed on the admission ticket will be used to define the official event dates. The terms and conditions shown during checkout as well as the DB terms of carriage apply.
