Seit 01.01.2019 ist das Veranstaltungsticket ein offizielles Angebot der Deutschen Bahn, welches auch in den Beförderungsbedingungen codifiziert wurde. Daher werden ab sofort bei Fahrscheinkontrollen auch die Voraussetzungen zum Erwerb eines Veranstaltungstickets geprüft!
Bitte führt neben eurer Fahrkarte auch Teilnehmerausweis, Buchungsbestätigung, Berechtigungsausweis, Einladung oder ähnliches Dokument mit, welches dem Kontrollpersonal darlegt, dass ihr auf dem Weg von oder zu einer Chaos(nahen) Veranstaltung seid. Kann ein solcher Nachweis nicht erbracht werden, wendet die Bahn die gleichen Maßstäbe wie bei Schwarzfahrern an.
Die Buchungsseite bietet neben dem Veranstaltunsgticket auch das reguläre Angebotssortiment der DB an. Für diese Fahrscheine gelten die jeweiligen Bedingungen. Veranstaltungstickets können jederzeit gebucht werden, aber dürfen als gewählten Reisezeitraum maximal 2 Tage vor Veranstaltungsbeginn und bis maximal 2 Tage nach Veranstaltungsende abdecken. Maßgeblich ist hierbei der offizielle Veranstaltungszeitraum wie auf der Eintrittskarte angegeben. Es gelten die im Buchungsprozess angegebenen Bedingugnen sowie die Beförderungsbedingungen der DB.
Since the 01.01.2019, the event ticket ("Veranstaltungsticket") is an official offer of the Deutsche Bahn, which has also been codified in their terms of carriage. As such the prerequisits for using such a ticket are also checked.
Please make sure to carry a participant ID, booking confirmation, proof of eligibility, invitation, entrance ticket or similar document with you, which you can show the railway employees during ticket verificiation. The document should show without any doubt, that you're on your way to a CCC or chaos-realted event. If you cannot produce such a proof, you will be considered riding without a valid ticket and the same measures are taking as for fare dodging.
In addition to the Veranstaltungsticket, the booking system is also offering the regular DB ticket portfolio. The usual terms and conditions for those types of tickets apply. Veranstaltungstickets may be booked at any time, but the selected travel dates may at most extend up to two days before and at most up to two days after the event respectively. The dates printed on the admission ticket will be used to define the official event dates. The terms and conditions shown during checkout as well as the DB terms of carriage apply.
